wow, you are so right on it. it's something that i need to realize in my own life. i can't tell my self i am going to grow a foot in heighth today, but spiritually speaking we all try to grow ourselves with blocks of this and that. but God needs to be working through our hearts to mould and grow us into His vessel.

That's a beautiful picture of growth...its amazing how so many times we think we got it down, just to be shown that we have it wrong. Its like Pastor Matt has been talking about it not being a set of rules or lists. I love seeing you grow Jim, and this is just one of the many ways you express it. Thanks for sharing...glad you were able to say it.

This is a great thought Tim.
I believe that it is true. Man's way of thinking is backwards and quick. Everything needs to happen and look perfect in man's eyes, and it needs to happen as quickly as possible. It is easy to put something in a mold and have it come out the way you want it to but it can not always be used in every situation, somethings need to be handmade. The only way is to be willing to take time, get your hands dirty and build on the item as a whole.
A potter can not just add a little bit of clay to one spot of the project he has to add it to the whole project then mold it into the shape he wants. if he doesn't he will end up with seams and it will ruin the beauty of the pot.
Thanks for the post it was really encouraging.
